I think "New Year" needs to happen on the first day of spring, like I think it's meant to be. I can't possibly think about the wonders and newness of life in -37 degree windchill. Ain't gon happen. Instead, I fight off the sadness of winter and hope I don't go too crazy on comfort food. I guess I just need to move south.

Glad to see you are back to writing but I hope you know when you get home for good you must find some way to keep up the blogging because I just don't think I can do without it.

February is more the time to take a few nips out of the freshness bottle for me. November has the holiday season approaching with some excitement and expectancy. And for my past few years at least, it seems that February is so much more freaking cold than November, December. Having to scrape ice off my windshield before driving to work = cold hands and grumpy Blake.
