Arrrggghhhhh.

I need to take a deep, cleansing breath.
Because if I don’t some folks might die today and that’s just not becoming of a lady, now is it?
A list should suffice as the aforementioned deep, cleansing breath.
- I cannot expect people to value my time as much as I do.
- Manizales weather does NOTHING for my hair.
- It’s fall in Mississippi and I’m not there.
- I should learn to say no more often.
- There is no Sonic Diet Coke in Colombia.
- The Virus o’ Death stole my Spanish.
- I could eat my weight in biscuits today and y’all, that’s a lot of biscuits.
Thank you, bloggy friends, for the diarreah of the mouth that you just allowed me. Which, I assure you, is so very much better than the diarreah o’ death of last week’s glory. Although, I did lose eight pounds.
It’s not the diet of choice, but hey, whatever works.

You poor thing! Everyone needs to vent from time to time, especially someone just recovering from Virus O’ Death, as you hilariously call it. Being sick definitely depletes my ability to be patient. And you teach kids in another language all day!!!

Oh, Emily, if you only knew what kind of year I’ve been having. Rita and I both could fill your ears to the brim and then some. I feel every word, every fiber of your pain! Some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed, but if you don’t who is going to teach THAT class. You know which one I’m talking about. The one you love, the one you don’t want to miss because there is just something special about the atmosphere in the room. YYou need to take a personal or sick day, doesn’t really matter which, just to clean your house. The house that could possibly be condemed by the health dept. if they chose to “drop by for a visit,” and no one….no one at home understands why the mess bothers you.
Just remember…..all GREAT teachers have those moments, days, months…….yes, even years. I too am living one! Love ya!
