I agree with both Clif and Lou on all sides. As I aproach half a hundred, or as my friend told me “twice 25″, I have good intentions on goal setting, but the follow-through seems to get rocky. But I am encouraged by others who set goals and procede with determination to achieve those goals. I shall be a cheerleader on your sideline……….TOUCHDOWN, EMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

I praise your determination. I, unlike you and very unfortunate for me, have never been able to goal set very well. I believe I lack in this area for fear of failure. Which is awful and at my age very hard to change and make things better but I am “grown up” enough to realize how this “simple” (lol) task of goal setting and working to reach those goals would have made my professional life turn out much better. I don’t say that to sound like I am unhappy in my life, but I do think I could have done better in my professionally had I challenged myself more a long time ago.
