I Love...
...my sons first words as he is waking up "Hey momma"
...the sounds when my whole family has gathered
...my husbands voice
...full moons
...star filled skies
...the smell after the rain

...the ability to have joy in the midst of the storm. (not that I always express that)

My kids wanting me to read to them or to read me a book.

My husband just because he is who he is and nothing will change that.

Fresh coffee

The smell of fresh peaches

getting a tan (which I won't be getting this summer)

Listening to Nanette (Jason's grandmother) talk about living in France during the war. She can tell some great storeies.

Rainbows. I scan the skies after a rain for them. I thank God everytime I see one because I know He is reminding me that His word is true.

Some of the things that bring me happiness:
- Hearing Weston say 'Mama'; it never gets old.
- Rocking Weston. (when he lets me; he thinks he's a big boy now so this is rare)
- Getting cards in the mail. (Birthday, Christmas, Valentine, etc.)
- Feeling appreciated.
- Watching old home videos.
- Getting a phone call from an old friend.
- Every year, on our anniversary, I love it when Dwayne surprises me (although I know its coming) with those Reeses Easter Eggs. We ate two boxes on our honeymoon and he’s kind of made it a tradition now to where we eat them every year. This is just one of the ways he reminds me how lucky I am to have him and all the JOY he brings into my life.
- The smell of sunscreen. (Emily, this must be equivalent to your chlorine smell; it just reminds me of summertime.)
- VBS (Again, reminds me of summertime and childhood.)
- Taking pictures. My photo albums are my treasures.

I could go on and on but I'll stop. It's nice to stop and be appreciative of the "little things" in our lives that bring happiness.
